Our Mill produces Planed All Round Timber (PAR), also known as Planed All Sides (PAS) using both Hardwoods and Softwoods, in lengths of up to 5.1m

PAR Timber Types available from Alsford
Standard Grade PAR overview:
Suitable for first-fix and general interior and exterior building work, our Standard Grade timber is available in standard fifths Scandinavian redwood. Chain of Custody certified.
Machined into a large range of standard square-edge sections, available in lengths up to 5.1m.
Contract Grade PAR overview:
Kiln-dried, untreated whitewood PAR (Planed All Round) timber is often chosen for internal use where budget is a consideration. Chain of Custody certified.
Produced from sawfalling grade whitewood (excluding sixths), and useful for longer lengths suitable for commercial projects.
Planed Oak
Our American White Oak is sourced from Eastern North America and has a light colouring. Oak will generally require less finishing than softwood timber.
The oak offers a rich and classic look.
Available in lengths up to 4.8m.
Planed Meranti
Meranti is mainly used for joinery, furniture and light construction.
Our high-quality Meranti hardwood is responsibly sourced from Indonesia and Malaysia, available in various sizes with a subtle shade of red colouring. Chain of Custody certified.
